We’re excited to announce that Flourish Cash accounts have been enabled with Account and Routing Numbers that can be used for externally-initiated ACH / Electronic Funds Transfers. This means that you can now initiate transfers into or out of your Flourish Cash account through external institutions and companies, whether that’s to transfer funds to/from your brokerage account, set up automatic bill pay or even direct deposit your paycheck into your Flourish Cash account.
Where can I find my Account and Routing Numbers?
You can find these numbers on the Account Settings page for each specific account by following these instructions. Please note that your account number for ACH transactions is different from the Flourish Cash account number that appears on your account statements.
Can I move cash into/out of my brokerage account?
Many brokerage firms, such as Schwab and Fidelity, allow you to link an external account, such as a Flourish Cash account, and initiate transfers to and from that account. Your firm will typically require you to provide your account and routing number, and may require you to submit a form documenting that information. By following these instructions, you can request a letter from us that verifies your account information.
If you were invited to Flourish Cash by an investment adviser or financial services professional and you would like them to have the authority to move money between your Flourish Cash and investment advisory account(s), they may be able to help you complete the necessary instructions or authorizations. To facilitate this, when requesting the letter from us verifying your account information, you can click a single checkbox to securely send a copy of the letter and your account information to your investment adviser.
Is there anything else I need to know?
Flourish Cash uses PNC Bank as our processing bank, so you’ll use a PNC Routing Number for externally-generated ACH transfers. This means that your institution may reflect the bank name as PNC Bank. Please note that ACH transfers are different from wire transfers, and that you cannot use these account and routing numbers to send or receive wire transfers.
While we do not charge any fees for externally-initiated ACH transactions, please check with your external institution regarding any fees they may charge. Further, you should confirm that you have sufficient available funds in your Flourish Cash account before initiating an external withdrawal or payment instruction, as such transfers will be rejected and returned if you have insufficient available funds, which could result in fees charged by your institution.
