We’re excited to announce Advisor Account Initiation. For the first time, you can now pre-fill virtually every piece of information that clients input during the sign-up process, making it even easier for your clients to open a Flourish Cash account. Clients will have the opportunity to confirm or change any information that you pre-fill.
In conjunction with Flourish Cash Account and Routing Numbers, which can be used to set up standing instructions between existing brokerage accounts and Flourish Cash, Advisor Account Initiation makes it even easier for you to onboard your clients to Flourish Cash, so that you can add more value to your clients’ portfolio cash. Advisor Account Initiation also makes it easier for your clients to get started with Flourish Cash so that they can start earning a competitive rate on their held-away cash.
How to pre-fill information when inviting new clients
- Log in to your advisor account at flourish.com
- Click on the “Invite” tab
- Enter your client’s name and email address
- If you would like to pre-fill information for a joint account, click the “Add household partner” checkbox and invite both partners at the same time
- Click “Invite & apply”
After clicking “Invite & apply,” your client will receive an invitation email to Flourish Cash, and you’ll be guided through the process of pre-filling the client’s information. Once you’ve filled out the available information you have for your client, click “Send to client” to send a second email to your client notifying them that you have initiated the sign-up process. They will be prompted to set a password and verify their identity before reviewing the information you’ve submitted and accepting certain legal agreements in order to open the account.
How to pre-fill information for existing clients
- Log in to your advisor account at flourish.com
- Navigate to the “Clients” tab
- Click “Manage” next to the relevant client
- You may wish to sort the client list for all clients who have a status of “Invited,” as those clients have not yet set a password for Flourish Cash
- Click “Start application”
Once you’ve filled out the available information you have for your client, click “Send to client” to send a second email to your client notifying them that you have initiated the sign-up process. They will be prompted to set a password, review the information you’ve submitted, and accept certain legal agreements in order to open the account.
Important information
- When you click on “Invite & apply”, clients will receive an invitation email to Flourish Cash while you pre-fill their information. When you finish, clients will receive a second email letting them know they can review the information submitted and finish creating the account
- After you’ve finished pre-filling your client’s information, they will be invited to visit Flourish. If this is their first visit, they must start by setting a password and verifying their identity. From there, they can review and/or modify the information you submitted while also adding optional, client-specific items (e.g. Trust TIN, Trusted Contact). Last, they will need to accept certain legal agreements before connecting a bank account to Flourish Cash to finalize the account opening process
- If a client has started the application process on their own, you will be able to see this activity on the advisor dashboard, but you will not be able to pre-fill their information or edit the existing application
- Advisors can pre-fill account information for personal accounts (individual, joint and revocable trust accounts) but cannot pre-fill information for institutional accounts (corporations, partnerships, LLCs, nonprofits)
- If you invite a single client, you will not be able to pre-fill information for a joint account; to do so, you must invite both partners at the same time by selecting the “Add household partner” checkbox. If you previously invited a single client and need help starting the joint account application process for them, please contact support@flourish.com
- Advisors can only pre-fill information for clients who share visibility of their accounts with their advisors
Advisor Assignment and Advisor Account Initiation
By default, only the advisor who invites a client to Flourish Cash is assigned to that client on the advisor dashboard. However, advisors can assign their clients to other advisors, sharing visibility across your firm. In the context of Advisor Account Initiation, this allows one advisor to invite a client to Flourish Cash and then share visibility with another team member who can then pre-fill information for that client (as an “Existing” client), or for a team member to “Invite & apply” and then assign the client to another advisor.
Note: Flourish Cash Executives can pre-fill information for any client of the firm which shares visibility of their account.
Here’s how you can share client visibility with other advisors:
- Log in to your advisor account at flourish.com
- Navigate to the “Clients” tab
- Select the client(s) you’d like to assign using the checkboxes to the left of the screen
- Note: you can sort the columns by clicking on the table headers, or you can filter the client list by clicking on the inverted pyramid icon ( ) before assignment
- After selecting the client(s), click on the “More Actions” icon ( ) then select “Manage Advisors”
- Select the relevant advisor(s) and click “Assign”
